Hi.

I didn’t know I wanted to write a newsletter. I knew I wanted to write a book, a memoir of a season of my life that was extremely difficult. A season that taught me I am stronger than I knew and more resilient than I imagined I could be.

I am writing that book, and in the depths of researching the book marketing process, multiple established authors suggested I begin a newsletter in parallel, so I decided to give it a shot. I’m excited to be here and glad you are, too.

As a true New Yorker, I'm thrilled to share my hometown with you. Having grown up in Brooklyn, spent my youth on Long Island, and now raising my own family in the city, New York is in my blood. As a licensed NYC tour guide, I can’t wait to take you through some of the city's most unexpected and fascinating places.

A creative at heart, I’ll explore what creativity means to me through photography, crafts, the art world, and writing. In the corporate world, I was a brand builder for companies like Food Network, Martha Stewart, and Getty Images. I’ll be bringing you anecdotes and learning from those experiences. I’m a mom, stepmom, wife, and daughter. Some weeks, we’ll talk about family life—the work that is closest to my heart and the subject of my memoir—my season of infertility, infant loss, and my road to motherhood through surrogacy.

The road of life can get rocky—I’ve consumed tons of ice cream to prove it—but there is power in resilience and human connection. I’m proof you can discover joy if you are determined to keep moving.
